An invitation in the heart of summer, to come and discover and practice Sufi Dance.
Much more than a dance, this practice, which has traveled through the centuries, is a meditation in motion.
It provides us with grounding and alignment.
Often known as the Whirling Dervish dance,
Her real name is "Sâma", which means spiritual hearing.
Here, the dancer turns on himself, connecting to the infinite movement of the planets.
Like the Earth around the sun, the dancer turns, again and again.
Until a state of deep connection is rediscovered.

An introduction to Sufi dance
The invitation to come and discover and practice the whirling dance, the Sâma, responds to a deep calling.
Here, it is not about performance, but about a sincere desire: to turn towards one's heart, to listen to it, to let it guide the movement.
This unique workshop is open to everyone.
Children aged 10 and over are also welcome.
Sometimes we resist fully immersing ourselves in the tour…
Out of fear of speed, of this whirlwind that carries us away, that overwhelms us.
But this resistance goes far beyond the body: daring to surrender to the whirling is to embark on an inner journey.
A path to Self, which we have sometimes forgotten, left aside…
And which, at the same time, attracts and impresses us.
Children, however, do not experience these forms of resistance.
They dare.
With faith, with enthusiasm.
Their presence within the circle is a precious gift, a reminder of our childhood enthusiasm and the simplicity of the heart.

My journey with Sufi Dance
One day, as I was walking, an inner voice whispered to me: "Turn" .
I knew nothing at the time about the art of the whirling dervishes.
But this calling never left me. It became a certainty, a quiet flame that continued to grow.
This voice guided me to RANA GORGANI, a great figure in contemporary Sufi dance, who has been teaching me for several years with rigor and depth.
In 2023, she gave me permission to start sharing this practice.
Since then, I have been introducing this art through workshops and individual lessons.
In parallel, my artistic calling takes shape in various collaborations:
– a stage production in March 2025 alongside singer KELLY AURA
– a duo with a singer accompanied by her shruti box, born from an improvised form mixing voice and whirling: the DUO MOZAÏK.
My journey is deeply nourished by Art.
Trained in music from childhood (Maîtrise de la Loire), then within the Roy Hart Theater, I worked for more than ten years in the world of theatre, notably accompanying the Compagnie Plexus Polaire of the Norwegian Yngvild Aspeli.
I also had the honor of being part of the expert committee of the DRAC Bourgogne Franche-Comté from 2016 to 2018.
